Pups on the Plains (POP) is a 501c3 non-profit animal rescue that frequents local shelters and saves dogs and cats, (and sometimes other critters), at risk of euthanasia. The animals are placed with loving fosters until they can be adopted into forever homes. Since its inception in 2017, Pups on the Plains has helped over 315 animals.
POP's branding is strategically designed to resonate with our primary audience: Auburn University students aged 18-24 whom we rely on as adopters, fosters and volunteers.
As the rescue's Graphic Designer, I was tasked with crafting the organization's brand identity, website design, and promotional digital and print materials.
Visually striking, warm, and bold colors help convey an element of playfulness, characteristic of our target market. Our brand not only captures the attention of our audience, but brings the mission of POP within the context of campus life by inspiring young adults to engage with the cause of adoption, fostering, and volunteering through its relatable branding.
